How HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned of Qatar is Championing Accessible Education

Her Highness welcomes back graduates from the Qatar Foundation network in Doha earlier this week

HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser attended the first Qatar Foundation Alumni Reunion on May 15 in Education City, Doha, with her son, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad, and daughter Sheikha Hind bint Hamad.

As Co-Founder and Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development Her Highness has devoted her time to creating a network where nationals and residents have access to education and resources, understanding the power of knowledge, inclusivity, and diversity in shaping the future.

The event shared insight into the experiences and success stories of hundreds of alumni from the organisation’s institutions with the hope of connecting this group of change-makers to work together to make a positive impact.

The Qatar Foundation shared a series of images from the event on their Instagram.

Her Highness and Founder of @QatarSocialWork posted a series of photos from the event, including a snippet from her inspiring speech.

“We now have more than 10,000 QF alumni. This means 10,000 competent people from different countries, different cultures, and different nationalities. Those 10,000 alumni are united by one common thread: the philosophy of QF – that education should be accessible to all, and that knowledge should constantly be shared,” she said.
