Jordan Royal Family: Twins Prince Muhammad And Princess Rajaa Bint Talal Celebrate Their 23nd Birthday
It’s a big year for the siblings, who are currently studying in Washington D.C.
Prince Muhammad bin Talal of Jordan had a sweet message for his twin sister, Princess Rajaa bint Talal, on their birthday which took place this week.
Taking to Instagram the 23-year-old Prince shared a picture with his sibling with a caption in Arabic: “We grow together, dream together, and graduate this year together, Insha Allah. Happy birthday my sister and my twin.”
Born to Prince Talal bin Muhammad and Princess Ghida Talal in 2001, and related to His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan through their father (who is his first cousin), Prince Muhammad and Princess Rajaa Bint Talal, previously both studied at the King’s Academy in Jordan where they graduated from in 2019, according to South China Morning Post.
The twins have an elder brother, Prince Hussein, who is two years older than them.
Prince Talal, the father of the royal siblings, was appointed by King Hussein as Special Advisor to King Abdullah II in 2001 and Princess Ghida, their mother, serves as the chairperson of the board of trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation situated in Amman, Jordan, and belongs to the Salam family, a politically prominent family in Lebanon.
Their mother, Princess Ghida often shares glimpses of their life on her Instagram page.
According to her posts, it seems like Prince Muhammad and Princess Rajaa both attended Georgetown University like their mother who graduated with a joint BSFS/MSFS degree and magna cum laude honours in international politics and economics from the facility in Washington D.C.
The siblings are set to graduate this year in May, according to Prince Muhammad’s recent post.
During special events in the family as well as Jordanian festivals, both King Abdullah and Queen Rania and Prince Talal and Princess Ghida bring their families together and celebrate the occasion and have close relationships with each other.
Based on images shared by Princess Ghida, Prince Muhammad and Princess Rajaa seem to be quite close to their cousins Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman, Princess Salma, and young Prince Hashem.
The siblings also often accompany Princess Ghida on philanthropic events. One of the most recent ones being a visit to the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman.
