Jordan Royal Wedding Concert: Ragheb Alama, Tamer Hosny, Diana Karazon and More Perform Ahead of The Nuptials

Less than 48 hours out until the Big Day, Arab artists took to the stage in Amman, Jordan last night kicking off the pre-wedding festivities of HRH Crown Prince AlHussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan and Ms. Rajwa Alseif.

The free concert – which took place at Amman International Stadium – saw the likes of Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama; Jordanian singers Diana Karazon and Zain Awad; Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad and Egyptian singer and actor Tamer Hosny take to the stage, according to Arab News.

Fans cheered as their favourite performers serenaded the crowd with a medley of some of their most famous songs, all in honour of Crown Prince AlHussein and Rajwa Alseif’s upcoming nuptials.

The performers also shared heartfelt messages on their social media, dedicating songs to the royal family, the Crown Prince, and soon-to-be Princess.

“From my heart, I dedicate this song to the honorable royal Hashemite family and to the beloved Jordanian and Saudi peoples ???? And the joys in your homes are still flourishing,” Ragheb Alama wrote in the caption.

“It is an honor to open this legendary celebration with the precious people of Jordan on the occasion of the wedding of His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan and Miss Rajwa Alseif,” Tamer wrote in the caption.

When will the Jordanian royal wedding start?

The wedding of Crown Prince AlHussein and Rajwa Alseif will be taking place on June 1st, 2023. The ceremony will take place at Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan. Once it’s finished the royal family, wedding party and guests will move to Al Husseiniya Palace for a banquet dinner and further celebrations. According to multiple sources, the wedding will start at 16:00 (AST)/ 17:00 (GST).

Who will be attending the wedding of Crown Prince AlHussein and Rajwa Alseif?

Representatives from various royal families around the world are expected to attend.

While the full guest list has not been confirmed publicly, sources reported that King and Queen of Malaysia; the King and Queen of The Netherlands; King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía of Spain; Prince Sébastien of Luxembourg; Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark; Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland; Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway; Hisako, Princess Takamado and her daughter, Princess Tsuguko of Takamado, of Japan; and the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah ibni Omar Ali Saifuddien III have been invited.

Regional royals have also been invited to the nuptials with some sources reporting that Saudi’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud; HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned, along with His Excellency Sheik Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani; and Oman’s Crown Prince Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said.

Other dignitaries include Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari; Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and First Lady First Lady Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed.

Roya TV will be providing live coverage of the wedding, which can be streamed via its web platform. The television company has created a special live stream channel that will broadcast content related to the wedding in the days leading up to the nuptials (see here). Fans who are looking to watch the wedding live can tune in for free via the web or the Roya TV app.

Who is Rajwa Alseif, Crown Prince AlHussein’s Soon To Be Bride?

Born on April 28, 1994, Rajwa Alseif is the youngest daughter of Saudi businessman Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz al-Saif and his wife, Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmed al-Sudairi. She has four older siblings: Faisal, Nayef, and Dana. She is exactly two months older than Prince Hussein, who was born on June 28, 1994, and was raised in KSA.

After completing secondary school in Saudi Arabia, Rajwa studied in New York at the College of Architecture at Syracuse University. In addition to holding a B.A. in Architecture, she also holds a degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. She has reportedly worked at an architecture firm in Los Angeles.

Her engagement to Crown Prince AlHussein was announced last August, just a few weeks after Princess Iman’s engagement to Jameel Thermiótis was announced.
