Jordan’s Post Office unveils a brand-new set of stamps and photos in honour of the 2023 Royal wedding
Jordan’s Post Office has released a collection of celebratory stamps in commemoration of Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II And Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein’s Jordanian Royal wedding, which took place on June 1, 2023 at Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan. The sentimental initiative serves to honour the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s national achievements and auspicious occasions at large.
The set of commemorative stamps accompanies three never-seen-before photos of the royal wedding ceremony, where the royal bride and groom can be seen joyously celebrating their Big Day.

“The release of our commemorative stamps serves to honour and celebrate the achievements of the Kingdom,” declared the Post Office via a post on Instagram, specifying that the collection includes two postal stamps, a card, and an envelope. The Post Office continued that commemorative stamp enthusiasts across the globe are granted the opportunity to explore Jordanian heritage through this initiative.

Rajwa Al-Hussein walked down the isle in a classic, elegant white gown designed by renowned Lebanese couturier Elie Saab. The Princess additionally donned a stunning Dolce & Gabanna gown for the state reception segment of the royal wedding.
Attended by the likes Their Royal Highnesses Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales, Their Royal Highnesses Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and King Williem-Alexander of Netherlands, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and Princess Elisabeth of Belgium—among other dignitaries—the Jordanian royal wedding was nothing short of a prestigious fairytale.

Several months prior, on March 12, 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II tied the knot with Jameel Thermiotis, a 28-year-old businessman from a prominent Greek family. The Royal wedding ceremony took place at at Beit Al Urdun Palace in Amman, and HRH stunned in a classic Dior gown adorned with lace-cuff sleeves and a high neckline, brought together with an elegant matching veil and regal tiara by Chaumet. The beautiful bride walked down the aisle alongside her brother, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.
