Meghan Markle joked that she felt “very pregnant” during her visit to Brinsworth House, a nursing home supported by Royal Variety Charity, today. Meghan also asked the resident if she had any kids, but she replied, “No, I had a career,” per People. The Duchess answered, “Yes, that I understand.” After all, she built a career as an actress prior to marrying into the royal family in May.

The Duchess is due to welcome her first child with husband Prince Harry in the spring. Her pregnancy was announced in mid-October, just as the couple began their royal tour of the Pacific. Despite carrying out 76 engagements during the 16-day trip, Meghan was full of energy. She told one well-wisher that she was “running on adrenaline” days after her baby news went public, according to Entertainment Tonight.
It’s still unknown whether Meghan and Harry are having a boy or a girl, which isn’t unusual for royal couples. Prince William and Kate Middleton didn’t announce the sex of their children before they were born.
