The stylish young royal is establishing herself as a revered tastemaker in India’s fashion and lifestyle scene

Hailing from Jaipur, India, Princess Gauravi Kumari is the daughter of Princess Diya Kumari, currently the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and Narendra Singh.

Born into a lineage steeped in rich history and culture, 25-year-old royal embodies a modern representation of her family heritage.

As a lover of the fashion and the arts, Princess Gauravi stands as a testament to the evolving roles of royals in society today.

Just a quick glance through her Instagram showcases her keen eye for handicrafts and unique, artisanal creations. In 2021, Gauvari Kumari turned her passion into a charitable endeavour when she co-founded the PDKF Store – a retail outlet created to showcase the products crafted by the women working with the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation. “The TPA carries forward the modernising spirit of Jaipur with a new vision that will see it become not only a museum store but also a concept store. It’s a world where Jaipur’s timeless crafts meet India’s modernity. It’s a labour of love, a world of treasures big and small, lovingly made, found, and restored,” shared the princess on Instagram.

The whimsical concept store exudes an air of old-world charm, with colourful wall designs, playful displays, eye-catching prints and intricate details.

Now open to the public, The Palace Atelier is an immersive experience, “where every visit is an exploration, and every product has a story to tell,” said the princess.
