Jordan Royal Wedding Planners on Princess Iman’s Henna Party

Pink Moon Events shares insight into the preparations for the special pre-wedding event, which took place two nights ago…

Behind every great celebration is a party planner – someone organised, meticulous and detail-oriented who is dedicated to ensuring the festivities run smoothly.

Pink Moon Events in Jordan were the masterminds behind Princess Iman’s pre-wedding Henna party which took place in Jordan earlier this week. Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan was in attendance, along with Ms. Rajwa Alseif – HRH Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II’s fiancé and Princess Iman’s soon-to-be sister-in-law – her aunts, Princess Aisha bint Hussein and Princess Zein bint Hussein; and her grandmother, Princess Muna al-Hussein.

‎‏”It’s an immense honor to have designed & planned the Henna party for her Royal Highness Princess Iman,” Pink Moon events writes within the caption. “We are proud to have engaged a group of skilled Jordanians to contribute in this project. Mabrook our beautiful Princess.”

The video highlights the skill and craftsmanship of local artisans, who prepared traditional decorations, table settings and tapestries for the event. The henna party took place at Al Husseiniya Palace.

Harper’s Bazaar Saudi interviewed Lubna Kolagasi and Rana Jundi, owners of Pink Moon.

“iI was a moment of personal pride and gratitude for the design and organization of Princess Iman’s henna party, which touched our hearts and the hearts of many craftsmen from the local community,” the two founders of the company said. “Everything was done according to customs and traditions. We were able to host a Princess Iman’s henna party, combining the uniqueness of old weddings with the elegant touches of modern nuptials, all while blending the essence of the past and the difference of the present. Embroidery was the focal point of the evening’s décor at the Al Husseiniya Palace.”

Lubna explained to Bazaar Saudi: “More than 30 talented women were hired from the local community… This was to create the furnishings and embroidered murals, all of them crafted in traditional patterns and stitches.”

“We were keen to add special embroideries from all of Jordan’s governorates,” she added. “The Royal Hashemite Court gifted a special souvenir to every guest who attended the event, as per royal custom. We were not responsible for the gifts.”

Queen Rania shared a sweet video of highlights from the event on her Instagram.
