Princess Rajwa’s Second Dress: The Bride Wore Dolce&Gabbana To The Reception
It was just as grand as the first dress of the day
Throughout time wedding traditions have evolved; many brides now opt for a second (or, sometimes, third) outfit change on their Big Day. Princess Rajwa, the wife of HRH Crown Prince AlHussein and future Queen of Jordan, has followed suit and opted to change into a second dress for the reception. While the gown is no less grand than the custom Elie Saab bridal number she selected for the marriage signing contract, it reflects a different side of her style.
Princess Rajwa attended the reception in a Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda creation, styled with elbow-length opera gloves and the Fred Jewelry tiara she wore to the nuptials.
The Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda dress boasted a long train and was relatively formal, although appropriate for the occasion; Princess Rajwa and her parents, along with The Crown Prince and The King and Queen of Jordan had to welcome the 1700 guests invited to the post-nuptial gala dinner.
Queen Rania wore an Elie Saab Couture dress to the reception.
The King and Queen of Jordan greeted guests as they arrived at the reception. Queen Rania looked elegant in an Elie Saab SS23 Couture gown. She’s seen here greeting Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden and her husband, Prince Daniel Duke of Västergötland with King Abdullah II of Jordan.
