How Saudi’s Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud is Supporting KSA Athletes At The Paris 2024 Olympics

Her Royal Highness is a true champion for The Kingdom’s rising stars in the world of international sporting

Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, the first female and current Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States, is cheering on her nation at the Paris Olympics this summer.

She has been active on social media, highlighting the achievements of Team Saudi thus far, including praising 16-year-old Zaid Alsarraj, who has just won his first heat for swimming in the 100m men’s freestyle.

The ambassador has also been a spokesperson for female empowerment and shared her support for the first female Team Saudi Olympic swimmer, 17-year-old Mashael Al Ayed. Mashael made history when she competed in the 200m freestyle a few days ago. Princess Reema has been watching the athletes on the sidelines and rooting for them as she takes pride of all the great accomplishments and history that Saudi Arabia has made at this year’s Olympics.

Princess Reema becoming the Saudi’s first female ambassador to the US is not the first time she has made history. Earlier last week, Her Royal Highness shared on Instagram that she has been working on securing Saudi Arabia’s role as the first-time host for the Esports Olympic Games in 2025, which will go down in history books.
