Qatar’s Sheikha Moza Attends National Sports Day in Style
Her Highness participated in the sports activities and encouraged attendees at the event
Sporting a blue-and-white striped abaya; white T-shirt and skirt; and Roger Vivier trainers Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned attended the launch of Qatar’s National Sport Day yesterday,
The event took place in the Qatar Foundation’s Education City and people of all ages attended to celebrate sport and healthy living.
Her Highness posted images from her visit on Instagram with the caption: “Qatar has hosted numerous international sports tournaments: most recently, the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. Our country aims to support physical activity as a pillar of sustainable development. Let us enjoy National Sports Day together and share our love of sports.”
The pictures show Her Highness joining in the sports activities and encouraging attendees. She played basketball, handed out medals, mingled with the participants and snapped pictures with children at the event. Her sporty outfit was paired with matching white sneakers, and a visor.
The National Sport Day fun at Qatar Foundation (QF) began with a football match played between the children of Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disability and Qatari football legends, organised by the Ministry of Social Development and Family, according to a report by Qatar-based Gulf Times.
