What Queen Rania Wore: Her Majesty Steps Out in Canary Yellow

Paring the button-down shirt with jeans and cross body bag, she spent some time meeting with the founders of LIVINC incubator while touring a boutique farm that supports Jordanian artisans

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan visited the LIVINC incubator in the Zai in Al Balqa’ governorate of Jordan to meet with the team behind the community-driven boutique farm that works towards uplifting Jordanian creatives and helping them attain financial independence through business transformation.

Her Majesty sat down with the incubator’s founder, Shadi Al Hasan, and several members of the core team for a chat about the ethos of the initiative, its driving sources of inspiration, the services it offers and the bigger picture for the future.

She also met with a number of Jordanian innovators who were assisted by LIVINC in setting up profitable business ventures and given the right tools to put out their work on local and international platforms. On display on the farm’s terrace, the exhibit was accompanied by a musical performance given by local group Bokra Band.

To learn more about the incubator’s sustainable initiatives, Her Majesty visited the farm’s greenhouse where she was briefed on LIVINC’s efforts in environmental conservation and the green solutions it is formulating in that endeavour. She ended the trip with a visit to the pottery studio.

LIVINC is located in the forests of Zai in Al Balqa’ on 8000 square metres of land and has been actively involved in promoting the creative economy of the country in order to create an ecosystem where Jordanian creatives can thrive. It provides services to sharpen the skill sets of local thinkers and inventors, and equips them with resources to turn their ideas into practical and profitable businesses. The ultimate goal is to generate employment in creative fields and empower underprivileged individuals.
