Queen Rania Steps Out In Style While Visiting A Startup Office in Jordan

Known for being one of the most stylish royals in modern history, Queen Rania of Jordan always looks her best no matter the occasion. 

Recently, Her Majesty visited the offices of technology startup Wajeez in Jordan, meeting with the team. Currently, the company has employed 40 Jordanian in full-time positions, as well as approximately 500 freelancers.

While Wajeez’s headquarters are in Abu Dhabi, her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited the startup’s office in Amman, where she met co-founders of the company Mohammad Zatara and Rami Abu Jbara. 

Her visit included a briefing on the company’s history and an insight on how to use the application. Additonally, her Majesty also toured the offices and met the staff behind the whole application.

According to The National, Wajeez is an audiobook platform with Arabic summaries of non-fiction novels written by foreign authors. Currently, the application has over 800,000 users and has a library of 3,500 Arabic audio and text summaries.

After the company’s successful launch in December 2020, the application has registered over 1.2 million downloads to date across the Middle East and North Africa region. This innovative startup and application has created quite the buzz in the region with its user-friendly platform, popular podcasts, a wide range of summaries, along with a daily new release for all users.
