Queen Rania Of Jordan Visits Local Entrepreneurs At Wadi Musa

Her Majesty took to Instagram to share visuals from her trip

On January 9, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan paid a visit to Wadi Musa, a small town located near the historic site of Petra. Her Majesty engaged in discussions with the local youth and women entrepreneurs to encourage initiatives and promote economic growth within the community.

Her Majesty donned an elegant black patterned dress by Sea, a vintage-inspired luxury brand in New York. The dress featured a unique gold, white and navy floral pattern, intricately embroidered to achieve a sophisticated aesthetic. The cuffed sleeves added a touch of regality to the overall design, contributing to a poised and relaxed silhouette. Queen Rania paired this look with a matching blue Bottega Veneta shoulder bag and a minimalist white belt.

According to a statement by Her Majesty’s office, Queen Rania met with Yousef Falahat, the founder of Thakafat, an initiative which aims to create financial opportunities for locals by connecting them with tourists to provide an authentic cultural experience.

The Queen then visited Essra Kitchen by Thakafat, a project that exposes tourists to traditional Jordanian cuisine, allowing them to sample food and also prepare it.

Her Majesty also received a tour of the Nabataean Ladies Cooperative, participated in a jewellery making workshop, and finally ended her tour at the Abu Elias Restaurant.
