The Queen and the Princess were in town for the 2022 UN Climate Summit and spent some time touring the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum
The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (a.k.a. COP27) welcomed world leaders to Egypt last week, inviting them to explore the various challenges we face regarding a multitude of global crises – its esteemed guest list included Queen Sofía, the former Queen of Spain, and Saudi Arabia’s Princess AlJoharah bint Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
In between attending the conference, the pair took time out of their busy schedules to visit some of the world’s greatest wonders, most notably the Pyramids of Giza and The Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
During the outing, Queen Sofía could be spotted wearing a white blazer on top of a printed-taupe blouse and matching scarf, while Princess AlJoharah opted for a casual white button-down shirt and crescent moon pendant. The pair were photographed admiring the artifacts at the Egyptian Museum.
Afterward, Princess AlJoharah was invited to attend a banquet dinner at the home of the Spanish Ambassador to Egypt.
In pictures together Princess AlJoharah was spotted wearing a white gown by KSA designer Honayda, while Queen Sofía opted for a printed jacket and matching wine-coloured scarf.
