And last evening, Sheikh Hamdan shared a lovely Instagram story of himself celebrating Indian festival Onam. The royal indulged in authentic dishes and even followed the tradition of consuming the meal on a banana leaf.
The Onam Festival is a vibrant and cherished harvest celebration originating in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Spanning over ten days, it honours King Mahabali and is adorned with traditional attire, flower decorations, and grand feasts; Onam captures the essence of Kerala’s culture. Families gather to partake in the Onam Sadhya, a sumptuous vegetarian meal served on banana leaves.
Additionally, along with celebrating the festival, Sheikh Hamdan shared an adorable image of a horse.
