The Temple of Poseidon is located in Cape Sounion in the Attica peninsula, and is a significant part of Ancient Greek history. The Temple is dedicated to God of the sea in Greek mythology, Poseidon.Â
The Temple was built in roughly 444BC – 440 BC during the Golden Age of Pericles. The architectural style of the Temple is Doric, and where the Temple is situated it overlooks the Aegean Sea providing its visitors with stellar views. Bazaar Arabia shares the visuals here:
