Museum of the Future
An architectural marvel, the Museum of the Future is located in the heart of Emirates Towers and offers visitors a journey into possible future timelines with the development of science and technology. Her Highness Sheikha Mahra visited the museum close to its opening in February 2022 and was seen interacting with staff and learning more about the exhibitions.
Dubai Expo
Right before Dubai Expo 2020 came to a close in March 2022, Her Highness Sheikha Mahra was seen at the venue exploring different pavilions over the course of several days. Her Highness took to Instagram to post a photo with Greek Governor Giorgos Patoulis. The Dubai Royal was seen wearing an elegant abaya with brown and white patterns.
Bab Al Shams
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra visited the luxurious Bab Al Shams resort located in the desert, 45 minutes from Downtown Dubai, and was seen lovingly petting camels and falcons. The Dubai Royal also took a trip to the Al Jiyad Stables, a 5 minute drive from the Bab Al Shams resort, where she met and took photos with a chestnut horse named Derby. Her Highness was wearing a black abaya with embroidered details.
Hatta
Deep within the Hajar mountains lies the centuries-old Hatta village, a scenic spot known for its adventure sports. Her Highness Sheikha Mahra visited this landmark with her mother Zoe Grigorakos in January this year and took to Instagram to share a photo of the duo in front of the #visithatta sign.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra visited the Dubai Miracle Garden, the world’s largest natural garden, with her mother in early January this year. The pair were seen in front of the Disney-inspired flower castle with a beautiful brown falcon. HH Sheikha Mahra was wearing a sage green top while her mother donned a brown abaya.
Zabeel Ladies Club
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra visited the Zabeel Ladies Club, a health and wellness spa, for the Address exhibition in February last year. Her Highness was seen interacting with business owners as she toured the space.
The Dubai Mall
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra was seen in Dubai Mall for the opening of the luxury jewellery brand Kismet by Milka. Her Highness was with Milka Karaagacli, the creative director and founder of the brand, as well as Dubai-based lifestyle influencer Sophia Khan. The group was seen exploring the new collection and trying out their silver jewellery pieces.
Palazzo Versace
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra was at the luxury 5-star hotel Palazzo Versace for the ICONS exhibition, an event supporting and celebrating women entrepreneurs. Her Highness received a warm welcome with live music and a bouquet of flowers, after which she was seen touring the exhibition and stalls that displayed various products, including abayas and perfumes.
Meydan Racecourse
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra was at the Meydan Racecourse in March of 2022 for the Dubai World Cup, an annual horse racing championship. Her Highness was seen enjoying the competition which ended with a marvelous display of fireworks and a spectacular drone light show. The Princess wore a beautiful creamy white ensemble with embroidered details.
Creek Harbour
Her Highness Sheikha Mahra attended the 2022 Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards which took place at Dubai’s Creek Harbour, a waterfront promenade which acts as a bridge between modern Dubai and the historical part of the city. The Dubai Royal was seen alongside Hollywood actor Steven Seagal and Emirati singer Balqees.
