On February 26, 2024, whilst celebrating her birthday alongside her mother and husband, Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum took to Instagram to reveal the gender of her baby.

The rose-tinted birthday celebrations aesthetically alluded to the fact that she and her husband, Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum, were expecting a baby girl, which was later confirmed by a pink heart-shaped balloon stating “It’s A Girl.”
The joyous announcement coincided with Her Highness’ birthday, which she celebrated alongside her mother and her husband.
“Happy birthday with all of my heart from your forever loving husband to the one and only love of my life,” wrote Sheikh Mana on an equestrian-themed birthday cake in honour of his beloved wife. Boasting rosy balloons and ethereally pink roses, Her Highness’ birthday celebration exuded femininity and maternal elegance.
Her Highness also appears to have been gifted presents fom Fendi and Swarovski, which could be spotted in the background next to an additional tiered cake.
Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana are expecting their first child soon.
Back in October, the couple announced they were expecting. The Dubai royal took to Instagram stories to share an image of an ultrasound scan, revealing that she is expecting a baby — their first child together. “Just the three of us,” Her Highness sentimentally wrote in the caption, tagging her husband Sheikh Mana.
In an exclusive interview with Bazaar Arabia, Her Highness previously shared her views on imminent motherhood, expressing that caring for her child has become her utmost priority. “It is essential to raise our children to reach their full potential, and in order to do so, I must hold myself to a high standard and serve as a model of exemplary motherhood,” shares Sheikha Mahra. We have no doubt that Her Highness will be an exemplary mother to her baby girl.
