Today Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai shared a touching reminder on how important it is to honour our family members. Taking to Instagram she posted a message thanking her father His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai for his unwavering support.
“Dear Father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone. My respect and love, Mahra,” she wrote on the post, sharing a touching photo of herself hugging her father.
The post comes days after she shared a sweet photo of her daughter, little Sheikha Mahra, who is now nearly four months old.
What does Sheikha Mahra’s message to her father Sheikh Mohammed mean?
The Dubai royal and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia January 2024 cover star has shared insight into her personal life throughout the past few weeks via Instagram. Therefore, we can only assume she has been seeking out family support during tough times – like any daughter would.
“I take great pride in embodying the values of being Emirati, which include being a symbol of love, family, kindness, and camaraderie,” Her Highness told Bazaar Arabia back in January 2024, touching on how she feels strongly connected to both of her parent’s side.
“My upbringing was deeply rooted in Greek culture by my mother, and as a result, I feel a strong sense of connection to it. Maintaining close ties with my family is a significant priority in my life, as it serves as a means to remain closely connected to my cultural heritage.”
Sheikha Mahra Announced Her Daughter’s Arrival Back in May
Dubai’s royal family celebrated the joyous occasion on May 1st, when little Sheikha Mahra was born. The news was announced the following day via Instagram.
