This June 2023 the Al Maktoum family — the ruling family of Dubai in the UAE — hosted the wedding of Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum.
Her Highness shared several images and video clips of the ceremony from the nuptials with her followers on Instagram. On her special day, the beautiful bride looked absolutely radiant in an embroidered dress crafted by Dubai-based designer Ezra Couture. She complemented her attire with exquisite diamond jewellery and a diamond watch by Chopard.

Fouad Abdelwahed
Yemeni singer Fouad Abdelwahed graced HH Sheikha Mahra’s wedding with a soulful performance as the couple presented themselves on stage.
The beautiful voice behind the hit singles Qalbi Elsagheer and Ana Asdaq, Fouad started his career at a young age composing unique Yemeni tracks with a contemporary twist. Over the years, Fouad gained popularity and was named the Gulf Star in 2010, after which he held several concerts, amassing thousands of fans all over the Middle East.
The talented singer often tours in the UAE, having just finished a concert at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in September.
Oraib Hamdan
Jordanian singer Oraib Hamdan is no stranger to the UAE, having performed during festivals and at several royal and high-profile weddings. Known for her mesmerising voice and charming stage presence, Oraib became popular in 2015 with the release of her songs Bellel and Al Thekra.
After donning majestic gowns at her concerts, the popular singer soon became a fashion icon and started working with Middle Eastern clothing brands.
Nagham Debal
Syrian musician, singer and composer Nagham Debal is known for her legendary performances in solo and group acts. Nagham is Dubai’s first female Qanunist, and performs regional and Western songs on the traditional Arabic stringed instrument. The talented artist has performed in Dubai on several occasions and has been on television shows aired on MBC and Al Aan TV.
Nawres Chakhari
Dubai-based singer Nawres Chakhari is known for her calming feminine voice and heartfelt performances. Besides singing at Middle Eastern weddings and events, the internet personality takes to social media to post performances of her singing alongside musicians with Arabic instruments. The local musician also composers her own songs in addition to performing covers.
