A congratulations is in order for the royal duo!
The Sultan of Brunei’s daughter, Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah and Prince Bahar ibni Jefri Bolkiah began their wedding celebrations on the island of Burneo in South East Asia on January 8, 2023.
According to People, the opulent event commenced in the Banquet Hall of Istana Nurul Iman which happens to be the sultan’s official residence – prior to this important affair, several ceremonies had been held in the days prior to the wedding.
The ceremony followed special traditions such as gift exchanges, the presentation of the royal insignia, a three-day long wedding ceremony and of course, a dining reception and a ceremonial ending.
The stunning images of the wedding are at the courtesy of Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah’s younger brother, Prince Mateen who took to his Instagram page to congratulate the newlyweds – Prince Mateen captioned the Instagram post saying, “So happy for my dearest big sister and BJB ?,”
