
UAE Declares Three-Day Mourning Period Over Queen Elizabeth II’s Passing
The period will last till Monday, September 12
The UAE has declared a three-day period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth ll after her passing, reported Arabian Business.
The country and all UAE embassies on foreign soil will fly its flags at half-staff for the duration of the period. The period will end on September 12, Monday.

Several prominent leaders from the UAE, including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, have expressed condolences for the demise of the monarch.

Her Majesty passed away on September 8, 2022 at Balmoral Castle, her residence in Scotland, surrounded by several close members of the British Royal Family, including Prince Charles, who has now been declared King of England; Prince William, The Duke Of Cambridge and Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, among many others.
She served as the longest-serving monarch in British history and has left behind a legacy that will be remembered for many years to come.
