Why did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get kicked out of Frogmore Cottage? Bazaar Arabia shares everything we know.
While Windsor will always feel like home to many members of the British royal family, one couple will no longer be able to list it as one of their official homes…
According to a statement by the couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage, located on the grounds of Windsor Great Park.
According to People Magazine, a spokesperson from the couple’s Archewell Foundation confirmed “…the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”
The statement was published after The Sun uncovered that King Charles had plans to move his younger brother, Prince Andrew, into the cottage and had asked his youngest son and his wife to officially leave the property.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle currently spend the majority of their time at their Montecito home in California, having made the move back in 2020 when they announced they would be stepping back from royal duties.
