Congratulations are in order for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The country is all set to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh, after competing with Italy’s Rome and South Korea’s Busan.

In line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, dedicated to fostering robust economic development within a flourishing society, the Expo will center around the theme, The Era of Change: Uniting for a Visionary Tomorrow.

This event will delve into future objectives by scrutinizing our historical trajectory, evaluating current endeavors, and strategically integrating sustainable practices to pave the way for a more radiant and sustainable future.

Expo 2030 will highlight the need for addressing climate change, advocating for clean energy initiatives, and actively engaging in the preservation and restoration of natural ecosystems. Moreover, it aspires to rectify societal imbalances by striving for equal opportunities without biases.

The Kingdom expects over 246 participating country pavilions and international organizations with more than 40 million visitors to the site.

The next World Expo is all set to take place in 2025 in Japan’s Osaka.
