The Aramco Team Series shall take place in KSA at the Riyadh Golf Club from October 27 through to October 29. At this event, some of the best golfers compete against each other, making it highly anticipated for golf aficionados.
From women’s world number 1 golfer to other talented players, this year’s Aramco Event is about to witness a competition like no other. Bazaar Arabia has a list of six players you need to know.

Lilia Vu
Lilia Vu is the current women’s number 1 golf player and has been taking the golf world by storm winning two major championships. The 26-year-old won her first major championship at the Chevron Championship and gained her second, recently, at Women’s British Open both in 2023.
Lilia took to her Instagram in January 2019 to announce her turning professional after getting her tour card at the Q-Series. That year, she also finished her Political Science studies at UCLA, a year of major achievements for the golf professional. In 2021, Lilia got her first professional win at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course, which she shared via her Instagram.
Minjee Lee
Minjee Lee, professional Australian golfer, is also set to be in Riyadh for the Aramco Team Series. She has achieved great wins throughout her career such as being the 2022 US Women’s Open Champion and representing Australia in the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Minjee recently represented Australia at the 2023 Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown. Outside of golf Minjee has taken part in various projects. In 2022 she kicked off global diversity month with Life at Aon.
Carlota Ciganda
Carlota is a Spanish professional golfer who turned professional in 2011. Since, she has gained a variety of achievements throughout her career such as, Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year, Ladies European Tour Player of the Year and more.
Recently, Carlota played in the Solheim Cup at Finca Cortesin, in Spain. This was her 6th time appearing in the European Solheim Cup.
Charlie Hull
The English golfer turned professional in 2013 and has achieved great success since. She was the LET Rookie of the Year in 2013 and was awarded the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit in 2013 and the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit in 2014, along with more.
Recently, Charlie earned her second runner up finish for 2023 at major tournament, AIG women’s Open where Lilia Vu took home the win.
Georgia Hall
Georgia is another English professional golfer. She began her professional career in 2014 and in 2018 won the Women’s British Open. This season, Georgia has achieved five top ten finishes becoming a four times Solheim Cup Team Euro competitor as well through Rolex Women’s World Gold Rankings as announced via her Instagram.
The professional golfer also recently became a brand ambassador for Duca del Cosma, a top-quality golf shoe brand. Outside of golfing she also enjoys doing Pilates to stay in shape for the various tournaments she takes part in.
Alison Lee
Alison is an American professional golfer. She turned professional in 2014 and has achieved great results in various LPGA Major Championships. She recently played in Korea and the US Women’s Open ahead of going to Riyadh for the Aramco Team Series.
During her time off Alison spends it with friends to recuperate for the tournaments ahead and of course golfing for fun with them as well.
