Saudi Cup 2023: Harper’s Bazaar Saudi Gets Ready To Take The Races By Storm
One of the biggest regional events in horse racing will take place this weekend in Riyadh
The famous horse race is once again coming back to Riyadh on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th. The Saudi Cup will take place at the King Abdulaziz Racecourse. With prize money across the two-day meeting of $35,350,000 (129,842,671 Dhs) and the most prestigious racehorses, the event is one of the most important ones in the world of racing.
The first race is set to take place on Friday, the 24th of February at 3:15 pm. A multitude of restaurants and food trucks ensure to experience the event in the most comfortable, lush way possible. On Saturday the first race will be at 1 pm and the main event, The Saudi Cup, will start at 8:35 pm. To finish out the exhilarating weekend, a closing ceremony will be held at 9:30 pm on Sunday evening with authentic Saudi music presented by DJ Bedouin. The gates will close and end officially conclude the event at 2 am.
Besides the main races, there will be several other attractions and activities to keep visitors busy and content. The Saudi Fashion Exhibition offers national talents the opportunity to showcase their authentic and culturally inspired designs. Attractions like the Cultural Corridor and the Saudi House guarantee visitors to experience a great audio-visual journey along the Kingdom’s topography, architecture and more.
The Saudi Cup will furthermore be enriched by a main stage featuring a rich entertainment program, such as the Mayyas dancing and the Saudi Idol finalists performing. The Ministry of Culture Booth will step into the spotlight as well to enlighten visitors on the prominent regions, heritage, arts, initiatives, activities, and cultural programs that the Ministry of Culture will launch.
Harper’s Bazaar Saudi will also be part of the event with a 360 photo booth to capture visitors from their best angle.
