Sheikh Mohammed Released A Special Message For Emirati Women’s Day
The ruler of Dubai shared his well wishes on social media
Celebrating the fifth annual Emirati Women’s Day, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai shared a thoughtful video on his Instagram account.
Celebrating the many achievements of Emirati women across the nation, Sheikh Mohammed congratulated their contributions and successes. “On the day of Emirati women, which falls on August 28th of each year, we celebrate the mother, sister, wife and daughter…We celebrate the mother of martyrs,” his post reads. The accompanying video shows Emirati women in action across workplaces in different fields.
In conjunction with the Year of Tolerance, the theme for this year is ‘Women, Icons of Tolerance’, as chosen by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Woman’s Union, President of the Supreme Council of Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and the founder of Emirati Women’s Day.
