Taif is renowned in the Middle East for its rose harvesting and production of rose fragrances, and the festival is a celebration of the city’s abundant natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
This year, the festival will once again captivate visitors with its vibrant colours and enchanting aromas.
Organised by the Taif Rose Cooperative Society and Taif Municipality, the festival will feature magnificent floral showcases and a parade of roses from the streets of Taif to Al Raddaf Park. Visitors can also expect a light show, shopping stalls, traditional performances, and cooking stations where local chefs will incorporate the Taif rose into their cuisine. Previous events also saw live musical acts and perfume-making workshops.

There will also be a specially-created floral carpet on display, made from 1,026,491 roses and flowers in array of shapes and colours. The carpet will cover over 5000 square meters and feature designs inspired by the old palaces of Taif Governorate.
Attracting thousands of visitors to the region annually, the Taif Rose Festival 2024 began on Saturday April 28 April and will run until Wednesday, May m15.
