The Dubai Mall is celebrating female achievement for the whole of March as part of International Women’s Month, and there are plenty of inspiring events to get involved in.
There’s something to cater to all personalities, whether you’d like to learn from artists, entrepeneurs or authors in the line-up of talks, or pamper your mum on Mother’s Day with a mini-makeover.
Here’s Bazaar’s pick of what not to miss.
These talks are open to the public, and held in a casual breakfast setting. The schedule includes experts speaking about motherhood, career success and gender balance. Two of our top picks include a talk by film director Nayla Al Khaja (11am-12pm, 21 March, 3rd Avenue Café), and children’s author Stephanie Roberts (11am-12pm, 26 March, Eat Greek).
The Beauty Cove
To celebrate Mother’s Day, Paris Gallery is hosting a beauty pop-up, with plenty on offer to pamper the family. Expect make-up touch ups, nail makeovers and skin consultations.
Paris Gallery, Ground Floor, 21 March
In a collaboration with ITP, The Dubai mall is hosting two photo exhibitions. The first, Pillars of Success, sees the mall’s 90 pillars taken over by recipients of the Arab Woman Awards over the past decade. The second exhibition, Influential Women of the Arab World, is in the corridor between the Grand Atrium and Bloomingdale’s.
