Known as one of the top tourist destinations globally, Seychelles is any island-lovers delight.
A country located in East Africa, the location consists of 115 islands in the centre of the Indian Ocean and is home to a large number of beaches, nature reserves, coral reefs, and marine life. Where To Stay In Seychelles
If you’re looking for the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and style, the Four Seasons Mahé has got you covered. The popular five-star resort has a wide range of accommodation options that open doors to all kinds of visitors. So whether you’re travelling on a honeymoon, the one-bedroom suite is a must, or if you’re visiting with family, be sure to browse through their multi-room villas and residents that will surely become your home away from home. We had the opportunity to stay in the four-bedroom residence that included: a private pool, living and dining area, kitchen, and, to top it off, a personal butler who assisted us with anything we needed.

What To Do In Seychelles
While the country is known for its beautiful white sand beaches and water activities, visitors can experience an all-rounding schedule that exceeds expectations.
Tortoise Feeding
Yes, you heard that right. Various resorts and locations across the country have wildlife reserves where you can go and feed tortoises. A particular spot that I had the great opportunity to visit was Desroches island, where I saw an Aldabra giant tortoise who was 120 years old.
Yoga by the beach
It doesn’t matter if you’re a fitness junkie or not; a yoga session could do great wonders for all, and it especially did for me. I experienced a 50-minute yoga session by the beach at the Four Seasons, Desroches, Seychelles. The class included practicing various breathing techniques to reduce daily stress and anxiety, different poses to improve body balance, and an intense round of Surya namaskars, an excellent calorie-burning method.
Seychellois cuisine, Creole, is inspired by flavours from Indian, Chinese, and French dishes and has a unique mixture of spices and ingredients. During my trip, I had the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of making some of the cuisine’s most popular dishes, like the Creole seafood curry that consists of a coconut base mixed with herbs like garlic, chili, turmeric and others.
A Relaxing Session at the Spa
From aroma therapy to deep tissue massages, Seychelles is home to some of the most well-known spas with highly-skilled technicians. I experienced a full body massage at the Le Syel Spa, a 60-minute session filled with essential oils that truly helped relax my mind and body. I highly recommend visiting when in the country.
Where To Shop In Seychelles
From homemade spices, traditional jewellery to colourful local clothing, shopping in Mahé is every fashion lover’s delight. If you enjoy collecting trinkets from new places, you need to visit Coco De Mer and the Victoria Bazaar.
