Eat, Play, Love: Shangri-La’s New Campaign Will Give You Even More Reason To Travel This Summer
Shangri-La’s new campaign offers a soulful take on holidaying, centred around connection, curiosity, and self-discovery
Wellness tourism is booming, so is solo travel and if you’re searching for something more than a bucket list visit this summer, Shangri-La’s new Eat Play Love campaign taps into exactly that craving.
Curated across its MEIIA properties, spanning the Middle East, Europe, Indian Ocean, India and the Americas, this is travel that centres self-discovery, from Bosphorus sunsets to e-bike rides along Mauritius’ coastlines.
Each property taking part in the campaign offers a selection of bespoke experiences shaped around three main pillars: Eat, Play, and Love. The experience revolves around thoughtfully designed itineraries made for solo travellers, couples and families.
For solo travellers, Eat Play Love offers a more introspective escape. Drawing on Virtuoso data that shows 71 per cent of solo travellers are women, Shangri-La invites guests to pause and reflect through wellness-driven offerings. In Dubai, that means sunrise yoga with skyline views, followed by refreshing treats and time for quiet reflection. In Paris, it’s a rebalancing massage that encourages guests to not only give their body the pampering it deserves but also reconnect with themselves.
Families are invited to take a moment of discovery and indulge in activities. In Oman, it’s snorkelling alongside sea turtles, while in London, it’s going behind the scenes at Borough Market. At Shangri-La Muscat, the ‘Polaroid Family Photoshoot’ under the ‘Love’ pillar calls for a beachside picture session at sunset for the perfect keepsake from the travels.

Couples are offered a time that focuses on strengthening their connection. In Istanbul, ‘Dinner on the Terrace Where Two Continents Meet’ involves a private meal overlooking the Bosphorus, just as the city glistens at sunset. Crafted by Executive Chef Giovanni Terracciano, the menu blends Italian flavours with a Turkish touch, served under an open sky. In Abu Dhabi, pairs get to enjoy their time aboard a traditional abra, gliding through emerald-hued canals at the property.
With Eat Play Love, Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts taps into an ultimate luxurious stay, one that’s focused on comfort as well as connection. And we get increasingly intentional with our travel and vacation choices that feels like exactly the right direction.
