As described on the culture.gov.bh website the Bu Maher Fort was constructed in 1840 and was also the initial stop in the pearling path, Now, it has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For F1 fans Bahrain would be an absolute delight with the Bahrain International Circuit, home to the Bahrain Grand Prix. For those adrenaline seeking individuals, you can even drive the track yourself and momentarily live out your racing driver dreams. 

The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park

This is Bahrain’s largest waterpark and as stated on their website, lpodwaterpark.com, it covers 77,000 sqm all influenced by the ancient history of Bahrain. Their website also states how they are ranked the 11th best waterpark in the world on Trip Advisor, a must visit!

A Visit To Al Dar Islands

A short boat ride will take you to the stunning Al Dar Island. On the Island you can relax watching the gorgeous sunsets, go on fishing trips, fun water activities or laze on the beach, there is something for all on these spectacular islands.

The Avenues

The Avenues is a lovely area in Bahrain for some shopping! The-avenues.com says it’s a seafront shopping destination stretching 1.5km influenced by the one in Kuwait. There’s a great variety of cafes as well to stop at and take a break from shopping.

Seef Mall

Another shopping destination to visit when in Bahrain is Seef Mall. There’s a great range of stores for some much needed retail therapy.
