The Eid-Al-Adha 2022 long weekend that began this past Friday was a much-needed break for everyone. And while we are still recovering from the fun-filled 4-day time off, we can’t help but wonder when the next public holiday is occurring this year.
So…. When Is The Next Public Holiday In The UAE?
According to the UAE BARQ, the two upcoming holidays before December will take place on July 30 and October 8.
July 30 marks the Islamic New Year, while October 8 is The Prophet’s birthday. However, as The National reports, since they both fall on a Saturday, it would not result in an extended weekend or a day off from work.
This leaves the possibility of the next long weekend taking place on Thursday, December 1 (Commemoration Day) to Sunday, December 4 for UAE National Day weekend.
