The holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin around April 2 and to finish around May 2, depending on the sighting of the crescent moon. The dates could be subject to change and may vary per country.

According to the MOHRE UAE, private sector employees will have shorter working days by two hours.

When Is Eid Al-Fitr 2022 Holiday? 

At the moment, Eid Al-Fitr is predicted to begin on May 1 evening. However, again this is subject to change due to the moon sighting.  

How Many Days Will The Public and Private Sector Have Off For Eid al-Fitr 2022? 

According to the UAE Government Portal, all residents in the country will have holidays from 29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal, which is predicted to be May 1 to May 5 — meaning there could be a four or five day long break.
