From a capsule collection with high-street giants Topshop to an endless slew of celebrity clients that reads like a who's who of the fashion world, Dubai-based label All Things Mochi are going from strength to strength. And this weekend the brand announces one of its biggest feats to date: its sartorial debut on e-tailers NET-A-PORTER.
The ethical brand’s hand-embroidered creations from the Resort 2018 line, named the Hungary Collection after the country that inspired it, are now available to shop on the global retail platform.
“I am very excited to see Mochi featured on NET-A-PORTER,” says Mochi’s founder Ayah Tabari. “We are very proud to have our brand stand alongside such a diverse and international collection of renowned designers. Being a part of NET-A-PORTER is a milestone for any brand and it has been a goal of mine since I established Mochi. It is an honour to be the first Dubai-based fashion label represented on NET-A-PORTER and to be able to highlight this fashion forward city on such an esteemed global platform.”
The Hungary Collection was inspired by its namesake and nods to the development of Kalocsa needlework, an embroidery technique that Hungarian women used in the 19th. The pieces are playful with floaty silhouettes, floral prints and Mochi’s signature stitching.
