With only a few days away until the start of Ramadan, Cartier has released a stunning video in celebration of the holy month.
Featuring landmarks from around the world and some of the brand’s most notable pieces, the video shows the iconic Cartier Panthere roaming the desert and admiring the wonders it passes.
It chronicles the essence of the brand, as the Panthere begins her journey in Place Vendome in Paris, home to the Maison’s first temple opened by Louis Cartier in 1899. Viewers are then transported to magical places from which Cartier draws its inspiration - London, New York, the Middle East and India, highlighting that Ramadan is not just a regional occasion, but also a universal one.
The video concludes with her looking up to the night sky, taking in the crescent moon and the stunning view.
The over-arching theme of the video is the importance of making every moment precious and to celebrate those small moments, no matter what is going on externally in the world.
Cartier recently pledged to donate to the Emirates Red Crescent fund to assist the region’s most vulnerable in the fight against COVID-19.
The main objective of the fund is to help stop the spread of the novel coronavirus and to create better conditions for families, along with encourging people to stay home and protect themselves from becoming infected.
The fund was setup in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority by the Emirates Red Crescent and other charity organizations within the UAE.
“More than ever, Cartier remains committed to supporting the less fortunate, those affected and the people caring for them during this difficult and unprecedented time,” CEO of Cartier (MENA) Christophe Massoni said. “We truly look forward to celebrating the month of Ramadan with a spirit sharing and togetherness, which are dear to Cartier’s heart.”
