A forever favourite updated, the new GG Marmont marks the latest chapter of Gucci’s constant classic in the season’s hottest hue

It is instantly recognisable – the trademark double G monogram immediately evokes the Gucci brand. But would even the most avid fashion fiend know what it actually stands for? These initials of Guccio Gucci, which made their debut in the 1970s in logo form, entwine the founding family forever with the house thanks to their tradition of giving their eldest child a name that starts with the letter ‘G’.
