All the Highlights From Haute Couture Week S/S 2025

This season brings a fresh take on classic couture, where innovation and artistry meet to create truly mesmerizing collections

As Spring/Summer Couture Week 2025 unfolds, designers push boundaries, showcasing collections that blend timeless craftsmanship with bold, modern designs. From perfectly constructed silhouettes to intricate, eye-catching embellishments, each runway look tells a unique story, offering a glimpse into the future of couture while honoring its rich heritage.

Schiaparelli

Schiaparelli opened Spring / Summer 2025 Haute Couture Week with a head-turning collection titled Icarus. Designed by Daniel Roseberry, the collection was inspired by antique ribbons from the 1920s and 1930s, discovered in a vintage shop. His vision was to create something modern while preserving the richness of historical craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from Schiaparelli’s archives, the silhouettes paid homage to the house’s heritage, reinterpreting classic forms with a fresh perspective.

Kendall Jenner graced the runway in a breathtaking nude mesh corset gown, adorned with draped pearl-grey satin and intricately embroidered with delicate flowers. Another standout on the runway was Danish model Mona Tougaard, who wore a stunning dropped ball gown.

Chanel

From soft pastels to deep midnight blues and classic black, Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture collection followed a seamless transition from day to night. The show unfolded at the Grand Palais in Paris, embodying the concept of infinite movement. The vibrant designs in the collection symbolize the endless renewal that has been the beating heart of the Maison for 110 years.

Amelia Gray walked the runway in a beautiful tweed ensemble, while celebrities including Kylie Jenner, Jennie Kim from Black Pink, Lily-Rose Depp, and Pamela Anderson were sat front row.

Georges Hobeika

Georges Hobeika’s Couture collection was a heartfelt tribute to Marie Hobeika, his mother, and Jad Hobeika’s grandmother, who passed away in 2024. Showcasing the house’s signature craftsmanship, the collection once again pushed the boundaries of embroidery. The show opened with models in black ensembles, their tear-smudged eyes hinting at grief. As the collection progressed, deep shades of blue, yellow, and red emerged before transitioning into soft pastel gowns in pink, lavender, and gold, each adorned with exquisite embroidery, symbolizing a journey from mourning to light.

Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture collection blurred the lines between past and present. Inspired by the Trapèze line of 1958, the designs play with transformation, movement, and contrast. The collection features punk-inspired headpieces, floral laced details, and a sophisticated palette of neutral tones.

Rahul Mishra

Rahul Mishra’s Pale Blue Dot collection drew inspiration from astronomer Carl Sagan’s reflection on Earth’s smallness in the vast cosmos, a concept that deeply resonated with the designer following the passing of his father. The collection showcased intricate 3D elements, including architectural structures and bird motifs, elegantly incorporated into the gowns. Entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist Mona Patel attended the show, wearing a stunning ensemble by Rahul Mishra.
