Ambani Wedding: Best Dressed At The Mameru Ceremony
Bazaar Arabia presents six of our favourite looks from the glamorous event…
The pre-wedding rituals of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant began on Wednesday night with the ‘mameru’ ceremony—a cherished Gujarati tradition where the bride’s maternal side arrive bearing sweets and gifts, symbolising their blessings.
As you’d expect from anything Ambani-related, the fashion was nothing short of extraordinary. The event was a feast for the eyes, with guests dressed in bespoke designs from the likes of Manish Malhotra and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
From glittering lehengas to stunningly embroidered saris, the outfits were truly amazing. Below, Bazaar Arabia curates a selection of our favourite looks from the extravagant event.
Ambani Wedding: Best Dressed Guests At The Mameru Ceremony
Radhika Merchant
You couldn’t do a best dressed roundup without including the bride herself. Radhika looked breathtaking in this custom Manish Malhotra lehenga that was pure poetry in motion. In rich hues of orange, pink, and gold, the lehenga featured gold zari borders embroidered with shlokas. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the vintage koti blouse with metallic threadwork and Swarovski tassels added the touch of glamour we’d all expect. Radhika’s look was completed with heirloom jewellery from her mother, making it all the more special.

Isha Ambani
Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, Isha Ambani was a vision in a toasted orange and rose gold saree by Arpita Mehta. Accessorising her modern saree with a chic twist, Isha wore a suite of polki diamonds and emeralds, featuring a jaw-dropping choker and matching jhumka earrings.

Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor brought a burst of colour with a multi-hued lehenga designed by Arpita Mehta, embroidered with delicate mirror work. Her elegantly draped dupatta and striking choker added to the allure. Janhvi’s loose waves and simple bindi perfectly finished this stunning ensemble.

Nita Ambani
Nita Ambani was the epitome of elegance in a pink Sabyasachi saree, adorned with brocade patterns and gold embellishments. Her statement emerald jewellery – a favourite of the matriarch- added the perfect touch of opulence, as she opted for loose Hollywood waves to complete the look.

Shloka Ambani
Shloka Ambani shimmered in a custom lehenga by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, echoing the event’s pink and orange theme. Her sequined lehenga blouse with puff sleeves was a modern classic. However, it was her statement jewellery – a four-layered necklace with pearls and diamonds – that truly stole the show. Shloka looked absolutely radiant.

Manushi Chillar
Manushi Chillar, one of Radhika’s closest friends, dazzled in an orange bandhani saree. Styled by Sheefa Gilani, she paired her sleeveless gold blouse with antique gold statement jewellery. Her sleek bun was the perfect finishing touch to her radiant look.
