The centre is the nation’s first space devoted to showcasing art, heritage, and creativity from India — and beyond.
The highly-anticipated opening events that took place this past weekend in Mumbai included a packed schedule of performances, a fashion exhibition, red carpet soiree and more. A-listers from around the globe like Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra, Gigi Hadid, Deepika Padukone, and others, attended the prestigious event in some of the most incredible outfits.

Award-winning actor Zendaya attended the prestigious event in a purple sparkly sari by Indian designer Rahul Mishra. Styled by Law Roach, the ensemble was paired with Bulgari jewellery.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid attended the NMACC gala evening wearing a white and gold sari by designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Bazaar Arabia‘s former cover star Priyanka Chopra Jonas attended the NMACC gala wearing a beautiful pink, sparkly Elie Saab gown. The outfit included ruffled sleeves and sequin detailing.
For day two, Priyanka Chopra wore a multi-coloured ensemble by Indian designer Amit Aggarwal. She mentioned in the caption, “This beautiful outfit was created using a 65 year old vintage Banarasi patola (Brocade)saree with silver threads and a gold electroplating on khadi silk. It is paired with a sequins sheet holographic bustier to reflect the nine colours of ikat weave that the brocade is set in.”

For day one of the NMACC gala, Indian actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja opted for a regal gold and red kurta style outfit by JJ Valaya. The ensemble included traditional embroidery, perfect for the occasion.
For day two, the award-winning star opted for a multi-coloured printed lengha by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
