#StyledByCed: Celebrity Stylist Cedric Haddad On How To Ace Snow Style
Stylist to the stars and our monthly columnist shines a spotlight on the top red carpet looks, and fashion moments of the month
It’s time to show off your snow style. Luxury brands have a renewed focus on their winter resort collections, and with a Chloé and Fusalp collaboration in the pipeline, Stella McCartney x Adidas link-up, plus Balmain working with Rossignol to drop new pieces, there’s no chance your après ski wardrobe will be going downhill. My top tip? Layering is key; make sure each piece fulfills a specific function, in addition to creating your overall chic aesthetic.
Cool Runnings
Keep in mind the ultimate twin pillars to stun on the slopes: warmth and style. Invest in one staple piece that is eye-catching and will steal the show, setting the tone for the rest of your outfit. You might focus on what’s on the outside, but what’s inside counts too. Your base layer will not only keep you warm, but the right item will do double duty to steal attention when you slip off your coat to sip hot chocolate later on. Where to shop? Balmain, Goldbergh, Louis Vuitton and Prada. Pucci have a cute puffer jacket, while Max Mara’s gilet and the Monclear x Palm Angels jacket is Insta-fabulous.

Feet First
A proper snow look demands the right snow boots. Invest in something shearling-lined and not slippery so you can continue your day after skiing for lunch, shopping and dinner. From Moon to Magda Butrym and Isabel Marant, designers have you well-shod and toasty.

The Extras
Come prepared with camel mittens, beanies, helmets and a mega scarf – they’ll add that additional flair, and keep you snug. Given snow can be blinding, invest in a statement mask. Our favourite pieces this season include a Balmain x Rossignol helmet, Valentino beanie, Celine mask – and anything from Louis Vuitton Snow.
