The elegant affair saw regional stars celebrate the start of Ramadan in style
Dior celebrated the spirit of Ramadan by hosting an exquisite Suhoor in Dubai on Wednesday evening at The Lana – Dorchester Collection hotel. The intimate gathering was attended by regional friends of the brand including Cynthia Samuel Bakri, Rym Saidi, Aseel Omran, Karen Wazen, and more.
Guests were dressed for the occasion in head-to-toe Dior, many opting for neutral or gold colour palettes to offset the beautiful decor.
In images captured by photographer Patrick Sawaya guests can be seen posing by the media wall (that featured the brand’s iconic toile de jouy print in green), showing off their Suhoor-ready looks.
Internet sensation Yasmine Zahran wore a silk two-piece ensemble, certainly befitting for an elegant night-time affair. Rym Saidi looked stunning in an all-white look, paired with a statement belt and matching silver handbag.
Cynthia Samuel Bakri blended style with comfort, looking relaxed yet chic in a pleated skirt and matching jacket, with an embroidered Small Lady D-Joy bag.
Saudi singer and actress Aseel Omran looked effortlessly elegant in a metallic look with crotchet details. She also provided entertainment for the evening. In a clip posted to Instagram, she can be seen taking to the stage to deliver a spur-of-the-moment musical showcase alongside Dubai-based musician, Yamane.
The classy outdoor affair featured green and white table decor with delicate floral displays, candle-lit lanterns, an ice cream cart, and an abundance of plush greenery overlooking Dubai’s stunning skyline views.
