The fashion label described the upcoming show as: “A poetic invitation where past and future meet, celebrating the unique, powerful ties forged from the very beginnings of the House, for the autumn-winter 1947 défilé (runway).”

The venue of the show, Drummond Castle is located in Perthshire, Scotland. The location is known for its beautiful terraced gardens and historic significance.

This is not Dior’s first trip to Scotland. Back in the 1950s the house staged a ball in nearby Gleneagles Hotel for its spring 1955 collection. Traditional Scottish dancing followed the fashion show.
