Is Daisy Jones & The Six A True Story?
Daisy Jones & The Six is an adaptation of the bestselling Taylor Jenkins Reid novel of the same name, meaning the band and the drama are a complete work of fiction.
The story goes something like this: As electrifying as their chemistry on stage is, there is a spark between the two characters that propels the band into a world of outrageous stardom. Years later, members of the LA band sit down for a tell-all and reveal everything to the world.
“But how much of everything do you really wanna know?” says Daisy to the camera in a previously-released teaser for the documentary-style fictional series.
Starring Riley Keough, Suki Waterhouse, Sebastian Chacon, Camila Morrone, Josh Whitehouse, Will Harrison, Timothy Olyphant, and other supporting actors, the Hello Sunshine-produced series is set to make a splash amongst BookTok fans.
