One of the highlights of the spring social calendar, the Dubai World Cup brought together equestrian fans, style savants, and tastemakers for a night of sport and glamour.

The 28th edition of the races — which was attended by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai Ruler, and Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum — was held at Meydan Racecourse and saw Laurel River, driven by jockey Tadhg O’Shea, take home a record-breaking 44 million dirhams ($12 million) prize.
