MAGRABi Celebrates Opening Of Flagship Store In Doha

The eyewear giant took the first step in an ambitious expansion plan spanning the entire region

The region’s most well-known and well-trusted optical brand MAGRABi opened the doors to its newest flagship store in Place Vendôme on October 17, celebrating the first of many such openings slated for the end of this year.

The luxury eyewear retailer couldn’t have chosen a better location with Place Vendôme being the top spot for all things fashionable and extravagant in Doha, Qatar.

The special occasion was made all the more memorable with the unveiling of Chanel’s latest eyewear range, a collection that was displayed exclusively before its first viewings for the public. The French luxury label has been featured brand of the month but is not the only high-end eyewear option at MAGRABi. Names like Valentino, Balmain, Akoni, David Beckham, Isabel Marant and Off-White are also available.

The store itself has been conceived as a complete experience, having been designed in collaboration with Landor, a global contender in brand consulting and design in the UK, and led by Vice President of Marketing at MAGRABi, Cherine Magrabi Tayeb.

As part of MAGRABi’s extensive expansion blueprint for the future, 16 new locations will be opened and 25 existing stores will be renovated across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Kuwait. The investment numbers look something like Dhs84M, which means the MAGRABi experience is sure to only get better.

MAGRABi has long been an established name in the world of optical and eyewear, seamlessly fusing excellent medical eyecare that is tailored to suit individual needs with fashionable, opulent designs that resonate some of the latest trends. Its widespread network of stores and boutiques boasts of more than 142 stores in 5 countries.
