Unlike past seasons, Chanel’s A/W16 runway didn’t stage an airport, a Parisian brasserie or even a supermarket, instead the French fashion house simplified its runway into the form of an old-school giant couture studio. Although the former over-the-top runway sets provided show-goers with guaranteed Instagram gold, this season compensated with the fact that everyone (yes, everyone) snagged a front row seat. And like they teach you in standard 7th grade algebra, double the front row seats equals quadruple the Instagram opportunities.
