Fashion Trust Arabia 2023: Everything you need to know about this year’s ceremony…
Designers and creatives from the region can now apply for the prestigious Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) awards. The applications are now open in five categories: Ready-to-Wear, Eveningwear, Accessories, Jewellery, and the Debut Talent Award.
The awards ceremony will be taking place this year in October, and the finalists will be announced earlier in June 2023.
Held under the patronage of HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser as honorary chair and co-chairs HE Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and Tania Fares, FTA is a leading initiative that is dedicated to shining a spotlight on regional creatives.
Winners of the Evening Wear, RTW, Accessories and Jewelry titles will receive a financial grant between $100,000 and $200,000 for crucial areas of business development depending on the size of their business and annual turnover.
Additionally, the Debut Talent Franca Sozzani Award is for applicants who are currently studying or have recently graduated in fashion design and are aiming to start their professional careers. The winner of this title will receive a financial grant of $25,000 to help launch their business and a tailored mentorship program by experts.
