First Look: Anine Bing’s Holiday Collection Is Fit For A Supermodel

For designer Anine Bing, the classic off-duty model look has always been a personal favourite and a leading source of inspiration for her brand. So when she received the opportunity to connect with Danish supermodel and photographer, Helena Christensen, who she’s always admired,  the two immediately clicked. 

Similarly and endearingly, Helena held Anine in the same regard.

Helena shared her love for Anine’s designs and also revealed that she finds herself wandering through Anine’s store in the west village quite often as she lives nearby, that’s actually where they first met.

Bonding over their shared heritage and their love for all things fashion, culture and music, the pair decided to come together and create the perfect 2020 Holiday collection. Drawing inspiration from the classic 90’s style to spinning their own take on it, the duo curated a capsule collection of 10 limited edition pieces that every woman needs in their closet.

“Creating this collection with her was so special as I was able to pull inspiration from my personal style and mix that with her effortless – edgy design,” said Helena, sharing insight into the creastive process.

Striking the perfect balance between edgy and festive, the collection is complete with day-to-night pieces accentuated with novelty details. However, aiming to be functional and timeless – the products have been created to be worn past holiday season too.

Some of the most show-stopping pieces include the Rosalie Jumpsuit in black – the perfect addition to your closet for all your dinner party and casual night out needs.

Additionally, the Claudia Blazer and the June Top in Ivory are also classic wardrobe pieces that can be dressed down or up depending on your needs!

The Faye Bodysuit in black, a strapless one-piece is another item from the collection which is extremely versatile; allowing its wearer to remain on the more formal side by wearing it on its own or alternatively, pairing it with a jean jacket to veer towards a more relaxed look.
