Dynasty’s Costume Designer Breaks Down Fallon Carrington’s Outfits
Arin Burke shares insight into the lead character’s wardrobe, along with a few of her favourite looks, from Season 4
With the new season in full swing, we can’t help but go over the best fashion outfits from the previous episodes. And who better to ask than Dynasty’s costume designer herself? Arin Burke shares with us her favourite looks from actress Elizabeth Gillies, who plays the lead character Fallon on the show. From a stunning Gucci ensemble to a Pink Dolce & Gabbana look, all of the outfits from the show are giving us major #fashiongoals.

Breaking Down Fallon Carrington’s Outfits, Season 4
Fallon has been a Gucci girl since the series inception and has worn several beautiful Gucci ensembles. This red leather Gucci suit is my favorite as it shows that Fallon has never been afraid to make a statement, even if it has to stay within the lines of being office appropriate. I have always loved a full ensemble and what better way to pay homage to Alessandro Michele than to complete this look with a gold chain Gucci belt and Gucci handbag.
Because Fallon is a powerhouse CEO, she needs to command the room at all times. I love this powder pink Dolce and Gabbana tuxedo suit for her because she looks powerful, and we paired it with an exposed white bralette to keep it young and sexy. Mignonne Gavigan pearl and crystal bow earrings and white Jimmy Choo pumps complete this boardroom ensemble.
I wanted Fallon to look playful and feminine for her surprise “staycation honeymoon.” With it’s fantastical citrus print and romantic puff-sleeve, this Borgo de Nor dress was the great way to show that Fallon has a softer side when it comes to all things Liam.
This AREA ensemble was one of my favorite Fallon costumes as it shows her more glamorous side with the label’s signature crystal embellishments. I did not know the AREA label until Costume Designer Zerina Akers put Beyoncé in that incredible AREA crystal poncho, hairpiece and earrings in the Black is King visual album, which truly was the inspiration for trying AREA on Fallon.
This Markarian dress was simply stunning on Fallon. Liz and I are both big fans of the label as the silhouettes are impeccably crafted to beautifully show off her shape.
These looks are making us super excited for the upcoming new episodes from Season 5, we can’t wait to see what looks Arin has in store for Fallon and the other characters.
